Vincent Tshituka

TRP seems to think we are looking at him for next season.
Flanker from the Lions in SA.
Looking at our options, im guessing someone is off.
Cant see Dombrandt, Evans, Chisholm or Kenningham going. Taulani
has only just signed. Wallace and White could well be moving
on. Lawday is an interesting one. I think he has been playing
well but maybe he has decided to move on (when everyone is fit,
he could struggle for gametime). And then we have the academy
lads.

Wallace and White would be my first picks to be out the door in
the back row.
Lawday probably next on the list but not by my choice. Evans
return to fitness and our new Pacific Islander sees quite a few
jostling for spots in the back row

From what I hear the article has us looking at Vincent and
Emmanuel Tshituka.
Both are young/inexperienced so I wouldn’t imagine they’d be
expensive, but as HonkyTonk said, it would make me wonder who is
off …

I think it is only Vincent. The way the article is written is a
bit misleading, saying he has a younger brother who is also a
flanker....but then switches to say he (Vincent) is expected to
have more talks with us before deciding. It gives the
impression they are then speaking about his brother

If the daily mail is to be believed then Dommers, Care &
Northmore have signed new contracts.
I’d hope we hang on to Lawday, he’s been superb the last two
seasons, don’t think he found his feet at the club with Gussy
but since the reshape he’s hit some fine form. We have a lot of
top quality players to choose from when it comes to back row. We
would want to make sure we keep Evans, Lawday, Chis, Kenners &
Dommers.
As much as they’re solid squad players, I wouldn’t be bothered
in losing White & Wallace. Both of those could be replaced by
academy lads in Makeen Alikhan & one that I really like the look
of Trenholm, reminds me of Clifford / Guesty

Also have Jurevicius. From that list if we are signing this
chap we must have at least 1 or 2 going

Dombrandt, Kenningham, Chisholm, Lawday and Evans (although
injuries may force the club’s hand) are all must keeps for me. I
had some doubts about Lawday after his first handful of
performances when we signed him, but he’s been class this
season. He also is developed into a key leader for the team and
loves it at the club when I’ve heard him speak recently. Also
Taulani has proven he has got some raw talent that potentially
our coaches can mould into something even greater too.
White and Wallace would the first out of the door for me. But
unless this guy is a lot cheaper, I don’t understand replacing
them with him. After being quite concerned by our depth at the
start of the season, now I think we have nice balance of players
across the back row.

It won't be a popular thought, and it's purely speculation...
What if WEV's injury has ended his top flight career? I hope it
hasn't, but I seem to recall he was hoping to be playing late
November, but the last update I saw he was back in hospital.
This would be a Clifford-esque blow.
