Personally I have Baxter being Quins’s long term loosehead. I
think he has the potential to be international class with Jones’
coaching.

We get this every single year with Marler. He won't go anywhere.

Can't see it. He doesn't like the commute to Guildford as it's
too far! It's probably an hour or so for him, Tiggers would be
closer to 2/3 each way!

Noticed he has been linked to them again today. Post on line
saying both Marler and Radwan are in talks for next season.
Add to that the rumours that we want Boyce and/or Dooley,
getting a bit nervous now.
Head says no (cant see him uprooting etc) but you never know!!!

We do need a plan, but it's also not uncommon for props to play
until 36/37 yrs of age. Not saying Joe definitely will but he's
certainly in good nick and not typically injury prone. I think
he's got some time left yet!

Fin Baxter looks like the heir apparent based on his U20 and
Quins performances, and his England callup in the autumn. He
seems to have switched full time to LH now.

Really hope this is wrong, if he leaves we’d need another Louw
style signing and I don’t see that happening. Not sure Baxter is
ready for 1st choice yet and why would we want Boyce back? I’d
say only to replace SGB if he goes.
Club need to work this one out! No one is irreplaceable but this
is Marler.
