Ignore Exeters recent performances. This is going to be our
toughest challenge of the season so far in my view. Excellent
team.

Great for Will that he reaches a milestone like this while
playing some of the best rugby of his career.
Exeter have a few fairly obvious problems: they have little
breakdown ability, a poor 9, a very old 12, and their scrum has
been bad for a while. Their strengths are just as obvious but
they have been depowered a little by the law changes on latching
on for drives.
It's going to be another fascinating test for our pack.

As a Chiefs fan I wish I shared your optimism! We've really
struggled with injuries, international call ups and tired
returning lions. We have not been able to field a settled side
all year with big changes every week. The loss of LCD and Sam
Nixon this week will weaken our front row, we finally started to
show a bit of solidity in the scrum last week. Our starting
tighthead is young and just settling in to the English game,
being opposite Joe is probably his worst nightmare, our
replacement TH is an academy graduate with very limited game
time.
With the weather looking terrible we could see an awful lot of
scrums, exactly what we don't need!
I would say I'm hoping for a repeat of last years final, with
the score the other way round, but I'd be happy if we come away
with anything at all.
Lets hope for as good a game as possible in the conditions and
no dodgy ref calls!
Best of luck for the remaining games.

It's easy to forget that Will was actually on the bench for the
2012 final. He's one of only four players to have played in both
games, but he never made it on the pitch in '12 (we only made 2
subs that day).

I remember a point late in the game with a Tigers scrum in
Quins' 22 when they'd put all their subs on and from memory we'd
only put Buchanan on in the pack. They set up for the scrum all
hungry and raring to go, and at the hit the Quins pack shoved
them back half a yard and then stopped and held completely
steady. As a way of sending a message that they were in complete
control, it was awesome.
A minute or two later, Tigers got slightly over extended on our
5m line and, inevitably, one of the many Robshaws on the pitch
that day emerged with the ball and it was all over.
What a way to close out a game.
