Ticket print outs

Hi all,
Does anyone know if they accept forwarded tickets on phones
nowadays?
My mate is going and doesn't have a printer. Worst comes to
worst, I'll go to the ticket booth and pay £5. Just seems a
waste of paper...

I don't know, but..
when I forwarded the tickets for a game this year, it said in
big letters, on the ticket, you need to print it out. I do
think that is odd, but that is what it says. My brother in
law, who used the ticket, took the view he should print it out ,
so we never tested if it could be on a phone or not. Factor in
the ques to show your Covid pass, you might want to get there
extra early to sort it all out.
Good luck

I have used my phone to get in on my season ticket. The Fanza
app has a QR code.
It may well also work for the barcode on the print at home
tickets.

I believe it works on the phone but there can be an issue with
sizing so may take a while of zooming in and out to get it
right. If everyone does this it puts pressure on the queues.
By printing the ticket it ensures that the barcode is the
correct size and works perfectly with the scanner.

Never had a problem with tickets on the phone, that was pre
COVID so should be fine.
It’s about time printed tickets we’re a thing of the past.

I suspect that you can get a printout of a ticket by popping
into somewhere like Snappy Snaps on the high street. It is
probably a lot cheaper than paying £5 at the ticket office.

There's a sometimes an issue if the phone is too big to align
the barcode with the reader as they're closed back (like a mug
on lying on its side) rather than open backed. If the phone
can't fit into the reader or if when the phone is inserted it
can't go in far enough for the barcode to align with the reader
then it can't be read properly.
