       IT was suggested to me by a coach that he might be doing this
       because players aren't where they are supposed to be and he is
       buying time. This would make sense but for the fact that
       Mulchrone gets the ball out quickly without flapping.

       Maybe Mulchrone just doesn't know where the players should be
       anyway.

       I was critical of Danny Care's play last week, particularly his
       box kicks.  I thought he had a good game this week. His kicks
       were followed up or went deep into touch and his passing was
       quicker.
       Good to see.

       I wouldn't know about that. Was it for some kind of sheepdog
       training?

       It was confirmed by both Jones and Care that he was rested.
       Along with both England and Harlequins. It was the papers who
       claimed he was dropped

       I fully believe that's good PR work but I will concede the
       point.
       Going back to the original point, being dropped by England
       wouldn't help him as he already was deliberately left out of the
       summer tour.

       DC is my favourite player but he’s been flapping and delivering
       slow ball for a season and a bit barring a few star player
       matches.
       He’s got to stop it, England suffered too because he buggers
       about on backfoot ball.
       When the ball gets nicked from your feet (saw it happen at least
       twice last season) because you’re too busy asking the ref for a
       non existent penalty - that’s an issue
