       Big Games ahead

Just looking at the fixtures, these three weeks we are in the
middle of really do look like a defining part of the season.
We got the result in the first, but these next couple of games
       really will make a difference.
Win them both and we will be well set, with a gap between us and
5th place. Win one and we will likely still be top 4 with others
snapping at our heels. Lose them both and we will be 5th at
       best, but most likely 6th.
I'm hopeful, but nervous. Big game tomorrow.

Two tough games. Both Gloucester and Exeter are very physical
sides which we don’t always do as well against.
Gloucester are quite a different beast this season. A win today
at Kingsholm would be a very good result IMO. I think it will be
close either way and a win certainly isn’t a foregone
conclusion. We’re probably playing slightly below where we
should be whereas Gloucester are probably playing above what I
would have expected in recent weeks. Hopefully the momentum from
The Big Game and having Marcus back will give us the impetus we
       need today.
Exeter are very hard to read. I think we all feel like we
haven’t really hit our stride this season, but they most
definitely haven’t. Their form has improved, but they don’t seem
to be the clinical side they have been in previous seasons.
A year ago, I would have feared Exeter at home a lot more than
Gloucester away but this season it’s probably the reverse for
       me.
Winning both is definitely possible, but I’d settle for 1 win
       and 2 good performances.

Mission accomplished last week on our part. Exeter looked a lot
better against Bristol in parts, but they almost let Bristol
back in to the game and still seem a bit vulnerable in
       comparisons to previous seasons.
Hard to call, but I feel like a big performance is coming from
us. We still haven’t really clicked, but. I don't think we’re
       too far off.
If we can come out of this period with 3 wins, it could be
       critical.

Yes, I agree. I haven’t yet seen the team really fired up this
season as they used to be against Sarries.

Have connections down Devon way and the consensus is that Exeter
have had a real hangover after losing the final which they're
coming around to now but they're far from the same side they
were. With the players they're losing, it feels like a cycle is
coming to an end and there may be a rebuilding year for them
       coming.
By contrast, We've had a couple of games where we've really
controlled things once we got settled, but that's their bread
and butter game and they're still solid at playing on their
terms so we need to be careful. They have a good record on the
road and have shaded a lot of close games but have not scored a
lot of points of late. Their tries scored is heavily inflated by
hammering worcester, but beyond that they haven't done a lot
else in attack against anyone else. They have the same record as
we do but don't really pass the eye test like they used to.
While their record is good when they travel, we can put up
points for fun should we get a platform and they haven't been
scoring enough to keep up with us. we've had that platform the
last couple of games, just need to be more clinical.
