Anyone watching the match Chiefs v Bristol? There is a member of
Bristol coaching staff on pitch using a go pro on his own
players during water break what is this? He shouldn’t be on
pitch without water bottle apart from anything else! Any ideas
       anyone?

I think it's about time no one should enter the field of play
unless the Ref waves them on.
Except medical staff to attend injured player.
Anyone not carrying water or kicking tee etc should not be
       allowed on end of.
Did you see the South African physio during the last England
game, you could hear her ranting off in the stands.
Its getting like the debancle that F1 is now, messing with the
       cars settings from the pits.
Gone back to watching Superbikes and the like - real man &
       machine.

Well on the Bristol board they say they were recording between
all game breaks players rea-action. Maybe I am being naïve but
       not sure what that achieves?

It's probably for content on their social media channels, soon
to be followed by "Player Nostril Cam" to get you, the fan,
right in to the heart of the action!
The whole water carrier thing is out of control, scrum with one
minute on the clock I counted nine guys on the pitch in high-vis
       vests.

Based on the 30 mins I watched it'll be very dull footage.
Agree though that they need to really clamp down on water
carriers. I'd love it if we took the initiative and stopped our
water carriers coming on all the time, but no-one will do it
       until they're compelled to

It's a new multi-function device that flashes orange when the
ref says you're allowed on the pitch to provide water or red
when you can come on for a blood injury, real or imagined...

Apparently according to Bristol board several coaches have them
strapped to chest ((Jordan Crane) and have had for weeks. One
was spotted by a TMO and reported to ref but no action was taken
despite the fact he had no water.

The number of water carriers is driven by the need under covid
regs for each person to have their own water bottle. Hopefully
when the covid regs are relaxed we can have two people with
bottle crates like in the old days. Hopefully only during breaks
for injury or official water breaks, first two matches each
season appear to have these at the 20 minute mark in each half.

Break after 20 minutes is usually due to warm weather.
