Not brilliant but ultimately, I’m pleased with a win on the road
vs. an in-form Gloucester side. It wasn’t pretty, but I didn’t
expect it to be.
Smith had one of his worst games. Just wasn’t at the races. We
probably should have won that by at least 10pts given how much
time we spent in Gloucester’s 22.

Was she the TMO yesterday who thought it was fine for Curry to
launch himself off his knee after being tackled in order to gain
the 3 feet he needed to dot the ball down on the line?
Just wondering - I can't remember.

Not many teams will win away at Gloucester this season - Gerry
happy with the four points.

So am I.
Think the wind must have been significant, although difficult to
tell on TV, and the slippery conditions obviously didn't help so
maybe we shouldn't be so harsh about our performance.

No Marler, No Lewies, No Chisholm jr, no Cadan.
BAd days for Green and Smith...and we still came away with a
win. Amazing stuff.
I though Lawday really stepped up today as did Kenningham and
Walker.
What has happened to Garcia Botta? He is a new player.

Gloucester have been impressive this season so it’s a great
effort to come away with a win at their place. Even with DDA
being probably the best international 12 currently playing, you
have to think Esterhuizen will be involved in their next squad.
His ability to have an impact on both sides of the ball is very
impressive.
A mention for Kenningham who has quietly become an excellent
line out jumper, performed well against Lawes/Ribbans last week
and then Ludlow and co this week. Means we seem to be using
Dombrandt less in the lineout and freeing him up to carry in the
backline.

The commentary team mentioned the wind quite a few times,
particularly in the second half when Gloucester were trying and
failing to exit their 22/half.
We seemed to play the conditions better, particularly DC who
kept them pinned back with some clever kicking.
