Could anyone quote our win/loss stats for the 2018 calender
year?

I was at the game. Our defence was much better. Car's kicking
was totally pointless and we lost ground and the ball every
time. If we are to keep ck we have to chase! Our discipline
continues to be awful and in fact cost us a match we didn't
deserve to win. And for God's sake... We need a Hooke who can
throw straight especially when on those rare occasions we get a
line out on their line.

Currently relying on bonus points to keep us afloat. Doubt that
can be sustainable.

I was there too. Our defence at close quarters was good and we
pressed them back, but as soon as they went wide we seriously
struggled, and they breached us all too easily. Ross C was
exposed on the wing, as was the D from whoever was in the 13
channel (not always Joe M). Our discipline was awful.

If we’re going to employ a kicking game we need to chase hard
and challenge the ball not chase softly and hope to tackle. DC
needs dropping, Mulchrone deserve a start when he comes on he
plays positive rugby and creates go forward which if we remember
is a principle of rugby.

Thanks to those who posted from the game. I sensed the
frustration.
While we can view the finales as heroic failures, ultimately we
have lost 3 games that I was hoping we would win. The point
being that Bath and Saints were lumped in with us as last
season's disappointments, and Bristol have the 'newly promoted'
target on their back. Thus meaning that I was hoping for 16
points, minimum, by now, before the tough stuff (Glaws and
Sarries) takes place. Maybe that is unrealistic, but that is
what we should be trying to do if top 6 is to be achieved.
Now there is no reason why we can't get two wins in the next two
games. They are not foregone defeats, just really tough asks!
The biggest problems seem to be going off the boil when ahead
(Bath and Bristol) and a ridiculous number of penalties (Saints
and Bristol). Mentality, focus and discipline must be worked on
this week!
Phew! Anyway, I am looking forward to next weekend. It will be
my son and my nephew's first away game!!!!
Come on you Quins! Please!!!!!

Thanks QP. On holiday in rural Spain so not really able to
comment. I'll just enjoy where I am for the next few days & hope
for a positive rebound next week.

To be totally honest, I expected this result. Bristol have
looked a lot better than we have so far this season and I
don’t see too many sides winning at Ashton Gate.
A point is a poor return, but it’s important given that
Saints and Newcastle also picked up losing BPs.
So far we’re being cushioned by the lack of points
collected by the teams beneath us.
Just as well cos I can’t see us winning at Kingsholm or at
home to Saracens.
