The kick chase was universally poor today as well. We just gave
the ball away every single time.

       > Another game where discipline cost us. And another game where
we go into the last play trying to get a win/draw. Small
margins and we are killing ourselves. Despite this I still do
not feel how I felt last season (the slitting wrist feeling).
Defence is much better. The heart is there but...the discipline
needs to be sorted. Our kicking is poor and our LO with ward was
       cack.

You're having a laugh. The last two games have been the epitome
of last season. We're a joke of a side and created precisely
       zero today through the backs.

No, Im not. Last season there was no fight at all, this year we
are showing some. Last season, with all the pressure that we
were under today (and against Saints) we would have shipped
another 14-21 points. Our problem is that we are kicking away
too much ball and we are giving away too many pens. Cut those
out and we get some ball to play with and some territory to play
in. Last season there were more issues than that. Crumpton has
       shown he can throw.

Yes, Crumpton goes straight to the top of the class.
       Ward needs to be expelled.

Wish I hadn’t renewed by ST now to be honest. Used to enjoy
going to Quins as a good release from work stress. Now if
anything it just makes it worse. Performances like today just
make me wonder what pride or even sense these players possess.

There were plenty of games where we showed fight last season.

It's probably an odd thing to say but if I was as bad at my job
as they are at theirs I probably wouldn't have a roof over my
       head!

I assume we're terrified of competing for the high ball in case
of contact in the air. Nothing else would explain just letting
them have it every time. Problem is, that stand-off approach
doesn't work on a day like today when you have to kick from hand
a lot. It's a recipe for no possession and ultimately defeat, as
       we saw.

Bottom line is you don't win many games playing with 14 men for
20+ minutes of the game. 3 in the bin will always hurt

Don’t think the current game plan suits our players...either PG
needs to let them play with ball in hand at pace more, or he’ll
have to hope we don’t get relegated this year and then sign
players to fit with his style.
