How was Castres?

Looking for some war stories. How was the trip? Where did you
all meet up/eat? Much mingling with the Castres faithful?
Anyone, apart from Tyrone, manage to catch up with Benjy?

Tucked up in bed with a cocoa and a good book by 10am was what
I’d heard.

Very good
A lot busier than last time
Their fans same as last time,
The wonderful train service going on strike ( again think same
as last time)
Would I go again..yes
Any war stories ssshhhh

The beer at the ground was as cold as the last time, but it
wasn't as cold and didn't snow Concur with the hot chocolate and
early nights. We wouldn't be staying up until hoovered out a bar
would we?

Sunday lunch of oysters, marrowbone, garlicky / parsley fries,
and then the cheese board accompanied by superb wine at the
Bistrot les Halles was excellent and a bargain, setting us up
for the rest of the day which ended with new found friends in
the Quays, great weekend, now in Nice, tomorrow Milan and back
home on Wednesday! Hoping for a final in Marseille!

Exhausting - 4am start on Saturday morning for the flight from
Gatwick and the same on Monday to come home - and a 'big night'
on Saturday sandwiched in between. Walked to the ground with the
Mayor of Castres just by chance. Coffee with most of the Quins
squad on Sunday morning sitting by the main square was a treat.
Practically lost my voice trying to cheer on the boys during the
game and make up for the absentee supporters - then worsened by
singing along to a great live band in the corner of the ground
after the match. Cracking weekend - still recovering.

I am disappointed that no one has noticed my reference to 10am
not 10pm
