Credit Cardiff in the first half, great attacking play, poor
defence from us. Now, flip that around at the start of the
second half with great defence to keep them out and scoreless in
that half.
Thought the tackle on Green in the first half was a red,
absolutely no mitigation for that in my opinion. The shoulder to
the jaw for Lynagh's disallowed try also a disgrace. Hopefully
the citing officer made lots of notes.
I want Dombrandt's babies!!!

Agreed on all points.
A big win in the end, but a bit part performance with lots to be
frustrated about. We’re half way through the season and I’m
still waiting for us to kick in to gear.
I’m genuinely amazed Botham’s tackle on Green wasn’t even looked
at. About as clear an example of shoulder to head contact you’re
going to see. Laughable in comparison to Shields’ red last week.
Perhaps the fact that Green is a tough player who got up and
shrugged it off meant it wasn’t as obvious, but seriously WTF is
the TMO there for if he can’t see that?
I thought Taulani was quite good when he came on.

Just so I’m clear, are you saying that Alex is your mother or

They should bring back that sofa fans could sit on. I could do a
decent bit of punditry/commentary from there but it would have
to be aired after the watershed

This thread has wandered somewhat from the original subject of
Mr Jones, and now includes biological relationships between
various random people.
However, now Mr Jones has had some opportunities to redeem
himself, what is the consensus? Is he any good or not?

A bit early to form a fully rounded opinion IMO.
Some good moments interspersed with less good ones … He’s got
good footwork and is capable of making good breaks, but so far
his awareness of players in support has been sub par and he’s
trying to go it alone too often.
His defence and his decision-making aren’t great.
It’s fair to say he has plenty of talent but also has plenty of
work-ones.
Northmore might not be a capped international but does similar
things to Jones with less of the drawbacks IMO.
