In, out, shake it all about.
I saw a rumour that we are looking at bringing Zack Mercer back
from France to boost our back-row stocks.
Do we have a list of those who are out of contract yet?

REPORTS: An article in France has suggested that ZACH MERCER
could return to the Premiership next summer with Bristol and
       Harlequins leading the chase.
It is on the RUCK Transfer Rumours. It is just a rumour and I
have been trying to find the source. But an interesting link.

You'd have to wonder who'd give way for him - he'd need much
more Wonga than a White - unless Lawday's contract renewal is
       imminent...
Does having England players affect some form of "offset" from
the cap, freeing up room to buy in more players?

Is Kenningham still an Academy player? I imagine he’s in line
for a pay increase if he hasn’t had one already.

I would guess Lawday, White and Wallace would be the ones more
       likely to move on

I think you could lose White and Wallace and gain Mercer. I’d
       tend to keep Lawday.

Mercer is a fantastic player and would suit our style for sure.
With Dombrandt leading the charge for the England 8 shirt,
having someone who can play 8 or 6 at a high level would be
       ideal.

Quite a few are on Academy contracts when you might expect them
to have senior ones. There's a new provision in the Salary
Framework that lifts the Academy budget outside the cap and
allows clubs to pay up to £50,000 on an Academy contract (vs
       £20k in the past).
It's quite a clever move, in that it allows clubs to hang on to
Academy players for longer and pay them something pretty close
to what they'd have got from a first senior pro contract while
keeping the headline cap level lower.
All of that said, I think Kenningham is probably due a payrise
given his first team and England squad status
