i am a staunch supporter of the ladies game but i don't like the
way it is going atm . it is in danger of imploding due to lack
of serious opposition . horsing a pub team who were 4th ranked
in world does the game as a whole no good whatsoever . i'd like
to see that money invested in grass roots rugby nationally ,
because that's what the tv licence covers . not just the english
league . are they going to televise welsh or scottish league
games ? no they aren't

I think the strength of the England team at the moment is due to
the investment at grass root level. It’s up to each union to
invest in the women’s game but if they don’t then they won’t
advance like the English teams. What are we supposed to do if
the other countries don’t keep up with us. Not play anyone else
because we might thrash them.

How staunch are you? Do you go to games? Or get involved in
coaching? Or maybe you invest money instead? Or does your
support only go as far as scrapping your TV licence when they
agree a deal to show one game per week which could help to grow
the game

The licence fee is archaic and should be scrapped, as for the
impact of showings women's rugby, they show men's rugby, mens
and womens football, men's and women's tenis ect ect.
So why not..........if it gets a couple of girls or boys into
fitness or activity I'm for it, it's a better use of the money
then the non-impartial news reporting the BBC spews out these
days and don't get me started on the amount of money wasted.

Currently coaching a ladies team and I think this is such a
positive move. Finally the ladies can watch their role models
and see their sport is taking them seriously.
