As said above, Irish are a good team this season, and we've
managed to lose to them in recent seasons when they haven't been
very good, so need to be fully up for this one.
If the internationals are available, no real reason not to play
all of them other than Smith, as they've not had much game time.
I know they've been training hard, but they should be reasonably
       fresh.
I guess that we can cover the loss of Marchant better than the
others, so if we have to rest them over the next couple of
weekends, maybe rest him now. Tigers have a better pack than
Irish I think, so maybe rest Marler this week and back for next
       week.
Dombrant's involvement might depend on whether Chisholm is fit.
It might be better to go full strength for both of these games,
and then rotate over the two European games. Not suggesting we
field a massively weakened side, but just rotate the England
guys then rather than in the Premiership

It's worth remembering that there's only 4 pool games in the
European cup this year, rather than the usual 6. If we're
planning on trying to get into the round of 16 for that, we
*have* to hit the ground running. We're in the top-ranked level
in the draw, so we're playing teams that are supposed to the
weakest in the pool stages. It would be a bit embarrassing to go
       out at the pool stage.

Castres are currently 7th/14 in the Top 14 with 5 Wins, 1 Draw,
       3 Losses
Cardiff are currently 7th/16 in their league with 3 Wins and 2
       Losses
As both of these teams look mid table, they may choose to focus
       on the European Cup.

Quite possibly, but the fact that they’re both mid table
suggests we might be able to rotate and still be in with a good
       shout of winning.

CSW (Really tough on Lamb and Tizard but Irish have a big second

       Edwards
       Jones/Anywanu

Yeah, he can play as well.........swap him for Wilson!!!! **
**Honkytonk sits Wilson down to break the bad news, and to also
       ask him who he is!!

Not sure Taulani has done anything to deserve being drafted into
the starting line up. Same for CSW

I wanted to give Dombrandt a break, but keep some beef/lump in
the pack (its my main worry about Lawday, very game but lacks
the punch sometimes). We look a much better side when we have
our big ball carriers causing trouble/making space.
