Some random thoughts.
I thought Saints were the better side and really messed up by
taking two penalty shots at goal. Each of those was a gift to
us.
We were shocking for most of the game. Discipline was truly
atrocious.
The comeback spirit lives through the whole squad.
A great result and it's kind of heart warming to see the
youngsters in particular experiencing a thrilling win in front
of what seemed like around 12k fans.
Everyone else has mentioned it but Lennox looks like some
player. He's got a real presence or something similar. It could
simply be the combination of his workrate and enthusiasm. He and
Jones were clicking nicely together at times also.
Despite the generally shocking team performance I thought the
youngsters all had positive performances - Benson, Anyanwu,
Beard, Hobson. I didn't notice Alikhan until after the game so I
suspect he only got a few minutes if anything.
Musk and Hammond were more or less unplayable on our own
lineout.
CSW appeared to be holding up a maul on his own at one point. He
looks like he might have that cartoon strength where the big
bloke picks up two guys and clunks their heads together.
I thought Taulani looked decent. Lots of tackles, completely
flattening someone with a Samoan Step, a lovely delayed offload.

Just to add my thoughts
CSW is a UNIT! Our maul defence improved hugely when he came on.
They'd been going backwards all match but he put a stop to that.
If that transfers to the 1st team it'll really help sort one of
our continued weaknesses
Benson looks to have a lot of promise, really quick and very
slippery
I'm joining in with the Anyanwu love in - he looks to be the
real deal, popping up everywhere and breaking tackles and the
gain line
Botta - the improvement was a false dawn, back to his usual
standard last night. He's not Premiership level, the sooner we
get rid, the better
Morris was poor as well, I understand he's coming back from a
long break but he'll have been fielding high balls in training
so he shouldn't be missing them during the match
Wallace I thought acquitted himself well lots of tackling and
some crucial turnovers making him a good bench option for top
level games
Steele was not on good form, he picked up a big knock during the
warm up (hence the bandage) and seemed thoroughly out of sorts.
Hopefully he's OK. I too thought Stafford was good when he came
on, full of energy and with a real fizz

Where did CSW play when he came on? In the past he’s swapped
between he second row and 6 so curious to see what his best
position is.
