Indeed. However I can't deny it does raise my hopes we might see

Probably hopes that Youngs can go the full 80 but you'll need 3
further forward options on the bench against the Bok pack. You
may well see Dombrandt start and have Lawes covering 6 & 5 (or
the other way round of course although I don't see Dommers as a
lock) along with Simmonds and one other on bench.

Oh yes, I forgot about Slade being able to cover 10. Malins is
an excellent 23 (very good player generally) but could he start
if Radwan is still carrying a knock? If Malins does start I’d
expect Quirke at SH replacement and Marchant at 23. I’m
bewildered with the Curry at 8 thing. The threat that Dombrandt
or Simmonds provide plus Curry and Underhill either side isn’t
exactly a back row short on physicality. Would also allow Lawes
to either start or replace Ewels on the bench.

Rather than 6-2 split on the bench, why not try to run SA around
and tire them out, rather than playing to their strengths. No
point trying to play a kicking and press game against SA
