Would almost certainly put Benson on the bench imo.
There's a not too distant scenario where he and Edwards are the
only 10s available and he probably needs to be playing with at
least some of the first team players before that

Benson played first half for Cambridge University against Chiefs
U-23s a couple of weeks ago. Played well by the sounds of it but
not sure if he was subbed through injury. Hasn’t featured for
either 1st or 2nd team since then as far as I can see.
I guess that leaves Ross Chisholm as backup? I know Tyrone has
been suggested as a possible, and in theory Prem Cup would be a
good opportunity to try him at FH but is it worth the risk?

Benson is pictured in the Instagram post Quins put out today -
so I'd expect him to be in the 23.

Yeah I would guess that all of the players in the pics will be
involved in the next couple of weeks - potentially with our
stronger team put out this weekend cause it's sarries

HARLEQUINS’ COACHING GROUP HAVE NAMED THE MATCHDAY 23 TO TACKLE
LONDON RIVALS SARACENS AT THE STONEX ARENA THIS SATURDAY.
Club Captain Stephan Lewies leads the side from the first
whistle, starting for the first time since the 20/21 Gallagher
Premiership final having made his return from injury off the
bench against Saracens a fortnight ago.
Harlequins Academy fly-half Jamie Benson will make his full
senior debut for the Club, joined by fellow Academy members
Tizard, Jack Musk and Lennox Anyanwu in the starting XV.
Partnering Benson in the halfbacks, New Zealander Lewis Gjaltema
will also look to make his debut in the Famous Quarters this
weekend, starting at scrum-half.
Further exciting Academy prospects will look to feature from the
bench, with George Head, George Hammond, Makeen Alikhan, Hayden
Hyde and Oscar Beard all named amongst the side’s Impact
Players, with back row Alikhan and centre Hyde looking to make
their own senior debuts.
Harlequins also welcome outside back Aaron Morris back from
injury this week, named on the left wing alongside Ross Chisholm
and Nick David in the back three.
Oxford University student Tom Osborne links up with the squad
for the start of the Prem Cup campaign, with the prop named in
jersey 17 amongst the Impact Players.
Harlequins Skills and Kicking Coach Charlie Mulchrone said:
“This competition is a great platform for the young lads to come
in and get an opportunity.
“It’s very much a refresh for the whole group, some people who
are chomping at the bit to come in and get an opportunity.
“But also, a nice mix of some people who might have missed out
on some game time or coming back from an injury to get on the
field and get some good quality minutes under the belt, and this
weekend we’ve got a very exciting group going out together, so
really, really looking forward to it."

Bit concerning to see Louw has been added to the injury list.
Like that mix of players though. Thought we might have got an

Good to see what these guys can do. Wonder if huw Jones thought
he'd be playing in the prem cup.
Not great news about louw. Hopefully just minor.
Would be good to have an update on the long term injured
