Given the injuries and absentees we could easily have lost a few
more matches, so very happy with our position in the table, if
not totally satisfied with the performances.

You’re a tough crowd… we’re level on points for second, have
taken points from every game and have found a way to accumulate
scores while not playing at our best. We’re also starting to see
strong performances from second and third string players.
The Wasps game also showed a marked improvement in defence
against a side with a powerful back line - they only scored 1
try despite numerous visits to our 22, which is impressive.
Leicester as clearly on an A+, but I’d have where Quins are as
an A/B, perhaps shading to A-.
Barring an injury crisis or a major loss of confidence, Quins
are set up well to be in the mix at the end of the season. And
we know (and more importantly, the squad know) that once it gets
into knockout territory Quins more than any other team can
       spring an upset.

With Lamb and Tizard showing up so we’ll, I’d almost forgotten
about CSW! Really interested to see him in action!
WEv shouldn’t be too far off. The last I read, he was targeting
this month, so unless he’s had a set back, we might yet see him
       again in 2021.

Beard did not look out of place when he came on yesterday. And
Awanwu? looks like he's a useful centre yet to have a few
       runouts.

Tizard has really impressed me this season. His ball carrying
and physicality in the contact area really stands out. At 21 he
could really develop into the future replacement for Symons/
       Lewies.

I think we have done very well. We have maintained our high
standards from last season and we have maintained our brilliant
adventurous play. There was a chance (as with any champions) of
resting on laurels, or taking your foot off of the gas because
you have achieved so much. We have not done that and we have
coped really well with other teams going for us and seeing us as
       a scalp.
Perversely, I think a lot of our best play was in the Sarries
game! I thought we looked really good and had a great deal of
control. The tries were tremendous as was the work rate and
desire. The decision making and the execution in the second
half, as well as the penalties throughout the game, ultimately
undid it all but, nonetheless, I was really impressed with how
we played. Leaving the Stoop last Sunday was with an odd felling
       of: 'how did that happen?!'
The second half v Bristol was the stuff of fever dreams, of
       course!!!
As for individuals, I think everyone has looked good! No one has
gone backwards in my thinking and we do have real quality in the
squad. Special mentions to Lawday, Murley and Collier who, at
different stages in their careers, all seem to have gone up a
level from last season. My absolute favourite player ("He's
mine, I saw him first!!!") is Tyrone Green. What an absolute
wonder he is. His running style is out of this world. His feet
go one way, his hips the other, while his top half goes in
another direction again! His instinct is to run hard and fast
and he makes so much ground and is really difficult to drag
down. He is super resilient and brave too. He goes up for every
contestable high ball and, if he doesn't get it, dusts himself
off and goes again next time. Just love the guy completely!!!
I think the best player for us, though, has been Dino Lamb. He
is a perfect example of what a run of games can do for a
player's confidence. He is a monster in the tight, works so hard
in defence and is always willing and able in the loose. Suffice
it to say, I think he can justifiably feel gutted if he is put
on the bench when Steph and Symo are fully fit. I hope they find
a way to keep them all (and the impressive Tizard) happy.
Tabs has been a welcome addition. He seems to have an easy charm
and welcoming personality. He seems to fit in very well with our
       more upbeat approach.
All in all, I am in the A- camp.

Yep, A- for me as well, are you people not entertained???? :-)
Agree with quite a few of the points made but with Green (yes of
course he's amazing and I'm led to believe that he is banned
from the city limits of Bristol) I just think he's being a
little too Mike Brown 2016-2019 with regards to just running
back into brick walls. Needs to add some variety with gainline
offloads or little kicks. How amazing would he be then?
Lamb excellent, Murley has really come on and all the front rows
have been superb. Going to commit heresy by suggesting Danny
needs to take a break over the next couple of weeks and think
about his game. Cost us against Sarries and got beasted at Sale
and although we came close in both, felt Steele needed to be on
       earlier against more physical sides.

Tizard has always looked the part technically, but the question
is whether he will develop physically to be able to mix it at
the top level. It took Dino until this year to hit that point,
and arguably Charlie Matthews never made it. At 21, though, he
has room to add that heft and if he can then I think he has the
potential to be a successor to Kruis at England level. England
are currently lacking a really good engine room lock. Hill and
Ewels aren't it on current showing; Itoje and Lawes are
brilliant individually but lack a little as a combo
