DC kicked away the match. When we kept the ball in hand in the
first half we eventually scored tries. I also felt that he
didnt help Will edwards to settle in at 10. He's got two
excellent no 10's infront of him Smithy and Tommy A - so he's
always going to be nervous about failing. DC's choice always
seemed to be to kick rather than allow Edwards to settle and
grow in stature. We need Edwards to grow and develop.

Danny taking more control of the match rather than putting all
the pressure on a neophyte sevens player was the right decision.
We do need Edwards to grow and develop, but he wasn't going to
do that in the space of 40 minutes into a strong wind against
       Saracens.

Smith or Allan would probably have spotted it. That's the
problem with being down to your third choice.

It was DC who didn’t spot Tyrone on the wing when he took the
       drop goal!

Respectfully disagree. Pragmatism doesn't mean that creativity
and optimism is denied, but rather that it is used judiciously -
we shouldn't try to play wonderballs rugby out of
bloodedmindedness, but rather out of the 90%(?) of times it
suits. On the other 10%, take a breathe and take the points.
