Scrum caps don't do a thing to help protect against concussions,
and can even make things worse.
Perhaps someone should have a word with refs about cheap shots
instead.

they looked at it and it wasn't , but then again perhaps you are
more qualified to make the decision from an armchair

I think given how often refs, and particularly TMOs, get things
wrong then being in an armchair is neither here nor there.

A late shoulder charge into the back of a vulnerable player is
usually a yellow as a minimum. But hey, they called it a push,
which it definitely wasn't, and there's no way officials could
ever get things wrong.
This was a pretty lousy and distasteful thread to start - do
other boards have "fans" who are so eager to be like this about
the team they support?

The reality is we lost the game when Will Edwards came on.
Shame.

I would have said so straight yellow for cynical late tackle.
Much worse than Dino driving in and making contact with the
body. Which got a yellow card!

Genuine question as to whether it was the Koch tackle which led
to him coming off?
Looking at it live, I I thought the Koch tackle was bordering on
late (with a questionable wrap), but didn't see any head
contact.
It was a good while later Tommy came off, so I assumed the two
incidents weren't related. Did he take another hit after?

Whiplash effect. He looked very groggy at the time, did several
uncharacteristic things after, and a few times was shown
blinking and rubbing his eyes. You don't need to have head
contact to suffer a brain injury (indeed, it's one of the big
problems facing the sport if the recent studies bear out)
Edit: also on replay it's very late and a shoulder/elbow, no
wrap at all. I think if it had happened at any other time than
the start, it's a yellow as minimum
