Would really like to see Steele start next week, and far less
kicking away possession
Some really good moments of play and think South AfriQuins
really have made a big impact with Greens workmate outstanding

I am genuinely interested to know why you think this. In which
way was, for example, Alex Goode better than Tyrone Green? Or
Sean " the Phantom " Maitland better than Cadan Murley? I can
understand a view expressed in which Saracens showed better
tactical nous, sure, but man for man? Saracens have some bang
average players, we definitely saw that today. Not enough brain
in the third quarter, and with Lozowski not missing anything
off the tee, that will hurt you.

Ah we definitely did but I think the answer there is just...
Playing into the wind requires a lot more management than
playing with the wind, and that's why Edwards struggled more.
That final passage was impressive bit we also nearly got turned
over several times as we were gambling multiple times with our
numbers at the ruck, it's really just a hail Mary thing
I certainly wasn't upset by our effort, attacking mindset, or
our physicality

Think we threw the match away and should have taken points when
on offer -although would Edwards have slotted the kicks ? Hurt
us when Allen went off ........

We didn't...
We've gone for the posts what 1in 50 opportunities over the past
6 months? It was a poor decision and I think it showed out lack
of confidence.

That one stings a bit. We had it within our gift to win but
couldn’t see it out. The late barge on Allen is a yellow if it
happens 5 mins later in the game and Billy V walking off with
the ball deserved more than a brief talking to. Confidence just
seemed to go in the second half. There was lots of good stuff
today but Sarries took the chances they got and we probably blew
a couple. Pleasantly surprised by how well SGB held up at
loosehead today too, think we had the edge in the forwards for
much of the game.

Don't think it was lack of confidence as much as it was Lewies
fresh on the pitch trying to add some pragmatism.
