Most of those wins also came when we were a significantly poorer
team.

According to TRP this morning Joe Marler asked to play in the
Sarries match today but England refused him😔

Don’t know what it’s like in Twickenham but if the weather’s the
same as it is in Tunbridge Wells it’s not going to suit our
running game. Think their pack will be happy.

Filthy weather right now but glorious sunshine predicted from 2
to 4pm. Pitch should still be pretty wet though.

Weather is coming from the south west and it has been bright
sunshine in Winchester since 9:30 - let’s hope it dries out a
bit a the Stoop

Hasn’t the weather been horrible the last couple of times we’ve
played them. I always approach the Saracens games with a feeling
of impending doom but I don’t know why as we have beaten them a
lot in recent years. We really seem to get ourselves up for this
encounter and if all the little things go our way we will win.

I'm just hoping it's not too waterlogged in the
Rosebine, could be tricky getting out post match!!
As for the game, with the sunshine out, hoping it will dry out
enough to get a flowing game going. As long as Sarries don't
get a lead we'll be in with a good chance. When they lead
teams don't normally get pegged back.

Send the helicopter! This time loaded with a crack SAS team to
sneak him out of camp, and a makeup artist to make him look like
Botta.

Quins playing the better rugby so far. Botta is surprisingly
solid in the scrum and Lawday is having a storming game.
Refereeing seems a bit one sided so far. Sarries aren't getting
looked at for some very marginal tackles or pinged for diving
over the ruck, which from where I sit they seem to be doing a
lot. Their observance off the offside line is very optional, as
expected.
Still, if Quins can cut out the silly mistakes, this is a very
winnable game.
