Massive dent not having Symons starting in second row. Big day
for the forward pack.
Good looking squad, nice to see Lewies & Wilco on the bench.

Symons is a big loss - he's been very good this season. But Dino
has stepped it up a level and Tizard has always looked at home -
though Saracens will be a big test.
It's a strong bench with potential to have a big impact, but the
lack of proper loosehead cover is worrying. Reckon we could get
Bomb out of retirement for a couple of matches?

Our backs are as good as they can be with the internationals.
Slightly worried about our pack, which seems quite lightweight
compared to previous weeks (and compared to Saracen's). Would
feel a lot better if/when both Louw and Lewies come on.

Thought Tizard really put himself about last game when he came
off the bench so looking forward to seeing him against the
sarries pack. Didn’t realise Kerrod could play loosehead so
that’ll be interesting.

Symons missing is clearly a big loss. That said what an
opportunity for Tizard - he impressed last season and now has a
real opportunity to stake a claim for a permanent place in the
23 once all are second rows are fit again (hopefully that is
soon).
I assume Kerrod will come on and play Loosehead. But surely it
might have been worth a risk to start him at Loosehead over SGB
perhaps?
Think it was a mistake to not strengthen at LH over the Summer
imo. Don't get me wrong I loved the signings we made but maybe
that money on Huw Jones could have gone on a solid LH?
Overall, I do really fancy our chances: Back row is very strong
and think we have a clear advantage over them in the backs! Just
hoping our tight 5 can give us parity at set piece. Also our
bench is definitely stronger that theirs which certainly has not
been the case in the last few years of these fixtures.

As already mentioned, Symons is a massive loss. He's the glue in
our pack and is a test standard lock in my eyes.
Chisholm is a really strong carrier but we need Lawday to step
up too and make some dents and create front foot ball.
Hopefully we can get to 50mins with some sort of parity, and
then unleash Lewies, Louw and Kerrod for a strong finish.
