The player pics on Twitter suggest that the shirt might not have
a plain black rear panel this year, which is a slight
improvement.

I might be missing the point here, but this shirt just looks
like a DHL advert. Was that the plan? DHL way bigger and more
obvious than any Quins connection.

Apart from being plain and forgettable, one of the things thats
most disappointing is we seem to have lost that connection with
charity work. Quite a lot of our TBG shirts have in some way had
a good cause behind it, and also represented within its design.

I agree. I didn't mind when we had "unfortunate" shirts for
charity but am disappointed when we have the same for a giant
advert.

Well, come the end of the season, you'll be able to pick up a
shirt for around £20. It'll seem much more attractive then!
But in the meantime, I echo all the people who have asked
"exactly how much time did the design team spend on that?" I
mean, yes the DHL badge is mandatory, yellow and red, the Adidas
logo is mandatory - let's use the red ink we've already got
lined up for DHL, Harlequins badge? well we have to have that I
suppose. Now we need some contrasting colour on the sleeves and
collar, what do we have available? Oh great, we have the red
from the DHL logo! Job done, meeting over in 5 minutes.
