Kids tickets

Anyone know at what age a child needs to be on their own seat
and need an actual ticket?
I'm quite happy paying for one if need be it's just the new
website just has a flat price for each ticket. Paying full rate
for a 5 yr old seems a bit lively.

Not sure of the answer for game by game but I assume it will be
similar to this which is from from the season tickets FAQs in
the section about who qualifies for a concession..... hope it
helps.
********
Any child aged 3 or 4 years old on 1st July 2021 qualifies for a
discounted Season Ticket Membership of £20 and will need to
apply for a Junior Season Ticket Membership card to be assigned
a seat.
Any children 2 years old and under are classified as ‘babes in
arms’ and can enter the ground for free but will share the seat
with the paying adult.

Some tickets have child/concession prices, it's just the gold
etc which are one price.

My memory is that after two years old they need to have their
own seat, before that they can sit on your lap. But from two to
under five they qualify for a season ticket for about £20, then
after that u16 prices, my 8 year old pays about £140.. Match
day tickets I assume follow similar rules, but I would hope you
don't have to pay full price.
There may be some places in the ground with no u16 ticket,
possibly the better seats I think most parts of the ground have
u16 prices, as i sit in the cheap seats I can only tell you we
have them in the South Stand. .
