Shame for Lynagh and March but I think there'll be injuries
before then. He held his nerves over George and the brothers
Vunipola shame for Ford and states that he's picking Farrell as
a fly half!

Feel dreadfully for Joe Marchant. We hit Sarries just after
their disappointment for Vuinapolos x2 they will be in a good
mood!

Surprised there are only 3 Quins in the squad (albeit crucial
ones) - I imagine with Watson's injury on the weekend that he
might be 50:50, so wonder whether Marchant or Lynagh could be
next in line.
Makes the Saracen's game extra spicy if they aren't losing too
many of their big boys.

Farrell is flyhalf and captain, so not much (1st tier nations)
game time for Smith
Lynagh is a little behind the back 3 options in the squad at the
moment, but Marchant is underated in my opinion, and unlucky to
miss out.
Marler and Dombrandt will be a big miss for Quins.

Very surprised Marchant hasn't been called up and Im also
surprised that Eddie hasn't called up Lynagh even if just to cap
him against Tonga.
Really pleased for the 3 that have been called up. Will be great
to see them (hopefully) get playing time even if they'll be a
big miss for Quins.

Reports suggesting Smith will start at 10, so I imagine Farrell
would start at 12 for most (if not all games).

Not sure Farrell will be starting flyhalf. His record there for
England is poor compared to Ford's. Eddie clearly preferred Ford
as a 10, and Farrell at 12 has been the lynchpin of his gameplan
for a very long time.
Marchant missing out is bizarre. Jamie George missing out seems
very strange.

Nick Mullins just tweeted saying that "EJ spoke to Louis Lynagh
this morning. Told him he was close". Like QuinsMighty said,
this might mean he's next in line if Watson's scan doesn't look
good.
