Had almost forgotten about him but with the ball carriers
struggling against Sale I remembered that’s meant to be one of
his strengths. Anyone know when he will be joining Quins. Not
sure if it’s visa issues or existing playing commitments

He's in the Counties Manukau team for the 2021 NPC compt. So
assuming he's still in NZ.
However, you maybe not aware after 3 games Auckland went into
lockdown & for the 3 Akld teams their season was eventually
canned.
Unsure if he can travel out of lockdown area or can even get a
new flight (its difficult to book an international flight out of
NZ) but for insurance, transfer & employment reasons there is
always a legal contract NZ release date & Quins start date which
I expect is post the NPC finish date.
The problem for Quins is that since mid August his training will
have been restricted to whatever he has been doing at his home.
The issue is not his travel plans/start date but for safety
reasons he can't just drop into a professional level rugby
contact environment & be ready to go.

Saw on his Insta today family and friends wishing him safe
travels to England. Looks like he's on his way...

Is he in the Tonga squad for their Autumn internationals? I
couldn't find a list of the squad.

Would make sense for him to be, since he's going to be in the
country. The messages on his Insta were all about him "starting
off on his new journey with his family chasing dreams in
England" etc - so definitely felt more long term than just
popping over for the AIs if that's what you're getting at.
Makes you realise just how much the Tongan union are struggling
financially though, having just looked myself and realised they
don't currently have a website. So much work for World Rugby
still to do...
