What answer is there apart from "some native americans are happy
to make money from outsiders however they can, including selling
things that a lot of native americans would be unhappy about,
because they're not a hivemind and it turns out that people
running casinos are quite money-focused ($27Bn industry and all
that), and it's one of the few ways native americans can
reliably make money"?

Absolute flannel - you're seeing something that's not there:
where has anyone tried to do anything other than give an opinion
(on this thread), an act you'd defend anyone doing on here. That
you don't like some of the comments doesn't equate to
suppression.

I don't mean here, I mean generally in society. Why is it that
so often outrage seems to disappear in the event of money
changing hands? Almost as if the outrage might sometimes be
feigned in anticipation of a handout? The appropriation of a
certain war dance springs to mind.
It seems pretty ridiculous to me to say "we are horrified by the
appropriation of our culture. But we will be less horrified
should you give us some cash."
And no, I'm not including reparations for past atrocities within
this, obviously.

Can't quite see what this has to do with the topic of this
thread, unless you're intentionally doing it to chum the waters
and provide succor to the "PC gorn mad / woke warriors are a
threat to humanity" types. They're hardly comparable situations
or responses.
