I may be outdated on this subject, but personally I believe that
there are far worse things going on in the world that need to be
fixed first. This is, at best, the froth on the septic tank full
of things that take precedence.

I object to a Wasp being shown on a rugby shirt-programme or
sign on the Rugby Ground on health and safety grounds. It is a
dangerous insect with a nasty sting and by putting images of
this insect out there may encourage young children to think it
is safe.
Also the sex of the insect shown may offend the LGBT community
as it is Male and does not reflect the trans/female/black
supporters in the crowd.

I think you will find that %99 of Wasps supporters are more
interested in their team winning as opposed to another teams
mantle.
Or in a nutshell %99.9 of rugby supporters dont give a monkies
about it either.

Always surprised that people get so annoyed by the people they
label 'snowflakes' or 'woke', in this particular instance Wasps
have responded to one of their supporter groups who asked them
to consider a position on Exeter and the particular use of
Headdresses as something that has been reported (mostly in the
USA) as causing offence to the cultures they originate from.
Wasps have responded by saying that although they don't agree
with their use they will not ban them as it is not their place
to create a one team stand against something that needs wider
discussion, thus they have asked Premier Rugby and RFU to look
into this in more detail and provide guidance to clubs.
How is this a bad thing?
The fact is that this would all be moot if when given the
opportunity Exeter had changed their logo and branding at the
same time as removing their mascot after being asked to by those
that it was causing direct offense too. I am not an Exeter hater
and have family who live near and are supporters of the club and
even they and their supporter friends want Exeter to change
their branding and they very much see it as a when not if
situation.

It was one of the Wasps supporters groups who raised this with
the club, but you tell yourself whatever you need to make it fit
with your own opinions.
