In the West Stand bar it took 20 mins to get a a few beers and
it was not packed either as one of the first in, Guinness was
off at the stroke of half time.
Green King - you keep that rubbish. Ended up with Larger then
missed the Re-start.
Its' a joke, bar mangeress said it was because the staff are
new.
Well your runing it - deal with it as even your "new" staff
cannot serve if the damm taps are dry can they.
Supprised she did not blame Brexit or lack of HGV drivers - poor
excuses.
Well before HT you pile up nearly full pints and top up and
serve, have someone on hand to swap over the empties in the
cellar room.
Its not a cocktail bar its a Rugby Club :-[

Just a thought but mebbes delay the KO on a Friday night? I know
there are transport issues but it might help?
As regards Bar Staff, if anyone treated my daughter like that
I'd be going all Arnie (Schwartzenegger not Pie)...
These guys and girls are our sons and daughters just trying to
make their way in life and working when and where they can and I
guess are largely students. It is impossible to get the same
crew every time, so lets at least applaud their willingnes and
not expect Harrods level service for the price of a pint. We are
all in this together as somebody said recently.

We had it in the members bar a few years back didn't we? -- it
was bloody awful. The terrible beer tasted even worse.

I believe the food and bar facilities are outsourced to another
company. Someone I spoke to about two years ago said that a
colleague of his who specialises in running food and drink at
events had been called in to troubleshoot. He apparently thought
it was appalling but nothing has happened so far. Could it be a
case of once you’ve signed a contract for so many years you’re
stuck with it.
However, the chap I sit next to had fish and chips that
looked ok. I’ve had F&C and it’s been good and the next time
terrible from the same outlet over the last few years.

I've complained since the 1990s that in Wembley they have
machines that will serve 6+ pints at a time. We work on the
basis of pre-poured pints. But that can be overwhelmed and it
requires more staff to fill the pints.

When I worked in the bars at the old Twickenham there was a beer
pouring machine which had a steady supply of ready poured beer
on a conveyor belt. We never ran out.

Deadly you echoed my thoughts. Give them a nice smile and be
kind. With the lack of training it must be very daunting for
these kids working hard to support themselves at weekends.
Often facing endless queues and challenging behaviour. My chosen
queue seems inevitably to be slowed down by the worse for wear
person shouting at their mates across the bar does anyone want
anything else? Let’s all be patient and give them a kind word
when they look like rabbits in headlights.
