Staff abused at Quins - this is a real disgrace

Laurie Dalrymple just posted this on Twitter - this is
unforgivable
On Friday, we had a member of our bar team verbally abused to
such an extent she had a panic attack, fainted, and had to be
treated by our on-site ambulance crew. It happened in the south
end of the ground, just after half time. If you’re frustrated at
our service standards, contact me. I’m approachable and
responsive as much as I possibly can be. Treating our staff like
that, regardless of your frustrations. won’t be tolerated. If
you witnessed it, please reach out to the club so we can
investigate it fully. To contextualise, 50% of our supporters
arrived into the ground less than 30 minutes before kick off.
13,000 then want to be served in a 15 minute half time window.
Despite having a much higher quantity of food and drink than
usual, some areas depleted far quicker than expected. Please
continue to be patient with us as we get back on our feet,
invest in the facilities to improve your experience and whilst
we work hard to staff to a necessary level, consistently sold
out matches at our home 🙏

Beyond the abuse itself - and the hope whoever did it gets
identified - the mass influx of people just before kick off was
extraordinary.
I’ve never seen the bars and walkways so rammed - and I’ve been
coming for a long time.
Anyone know why it’s so different to previous seasons?

That's very poor 😡 Yes the bar service is often sub
optimal but that's no excuse to abuse anyone. It really isn't
the end of the world if one misses 5 minutes of the start of the
match(or second half) getting a beer/food. Manners cost
nothing....

on our complaints, he is supporting his staff. Top man!

This should not be tolerated and called out by those around the
individual. The rest of us have the responsibility to uphold and
maintain the standards.

Why does anyone need a beer to watch a game of rugby ? If people
can watch Soccer without a Beer why can't people watch Rugby
without one. Wonder how many people wouldn't go if Soccer rules
around drink came in at Rugby.

Yep and while we're at it let's say that only 1 player from each
team can touch the ball with their hands, and maybe let's
squeeze the ball until it stops being such a silly shape - round
might be better.
What a ludicrous false equivalence from the fun police.
