Five takeaways from Harlequins' romp over Bristol as Marcus
       Smith demands England start
  HTML https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/bristol-harlequins-premiership-england-rugby-25174221
       - Marcus Smith must start for England
       - Hand Alex Dombrandt the No. 8 reins
       - Bye weeks are going to be essential
       - Cap Louis Lynagh - quickly
       - Every team needs a Nick Evans

       I would take 5-6.

Well that is all very well but everyone needs to keep their
       hands off NEV including Eddie.

Putting NEv in the coaching team or Marcus or Louis or Alex at 8
in isolation wouldn't work. To get the best of them you need a
total change of philosophy which would mean a change of head
       coach to start.

Put it like this; Pat Lam's stated achievement goal for this
season was making the Prem final and semi finals in Champions
Cup. After watching Bristol play last night (on the back of an
awful run of games, including previous season), do you think
       that is likely to happen?
Losing from 21 points up is one thing, but not even getting a
point and players clearly losing their heads/place in system is
an ongoing trend for a while now. "Take the learnings" every
week when clearly going backwards over a sustained period with
those goals just doesn't add up. If shoe was on other foot would
you be satisfied with that second half and how things have been
       for months?
With the greatest of respect I don't see you doing that to
genuine top sides. Definitely win and even cut loose but 52
unanswered points in less than 50 minutes or whatever it was?

I think that's fair. Bristol's lack of fitness for this sort of
game was a real surprise, and was obvious from the mid fifty
minutes period onwards. Why that is you'll know better than us,
but to see four players just drop down and take a breather on 54
minutes was the clearest message to Quins that they're going to
win a game that I've seen in some time.

My favorite moment was the scrum just after Lahiff came on and
he and the whole pack got absolutely trampled, magic

Was that Smith's kick-pass to Murley? Lovely stuff.

Were there any verbal gems from Marler on reflink?
