0-21 to 52-24. That turnaround was firstly due to good defence
after a few poor defensive errors (Danny Care best attacking SH
in Premiership, worst defender) and then our scrum overcoming
theirs. Let’s not forget that although at the moment we play
champagne rugby ( and this is some of the best attacking rugby I
have ever seen) we also had an incredible pack last year and we
must continue this year. This evening, when we started to
dominate their scrum we could do our champagne stuff - and we
did.
Can’t wait for Louw to return. Quick ball is everything for us.
Smith try was one of those rare occasions when you can say one
man created a try and no one else had any influence on it. Just
brilliant!

3 times now we have come back from being buried to totally
crushing the opposition.I can’t remember any team ever in the
world doing that.Truly phenomenal and a privelege to be a member
of this club led by an outstanding CEO and a superb coaching
team let alone the players. If Jones doesn’t pick Dombrandt he
needs his head examining

Louw, Lewies, Evans still to return to bolster the pack.
Not the biggest forwards, but as a unit the Quins pack are
something very special.

One interesting thing of tonight's game, Sinks decking Danny off
the ball, no longer any loyalty/respect as an ex Quins player.
Talent no doubt, but a bit of a ......
Mind you, do you get a medal for losing a semi... didn't think
so 😁!

That really was a fantastic night, the Stoop in the second half
was something else
Some of the running rugby later on… a lot of people had a great
half, and maybe I’m imagining it, but Smith, Murley and
Northmore seemed to break through at will towards the end

,
Agreed . Let’s never forget how much our pack contributes to the
way we play

Murley is always reliably very good, but tonight he was
excellent. He was great in attack, but his turnover at a point
where Bristol were on top was a key momentum swing.
Northmore is another who is always very good and I will happily
eat some humble pie on Dino Lamb, who has turned into a real
asset.
We’ve gradually built a really nicely balanced squad.

talent. #coyq

That was me. Happy to be proved wrong. The second half, the lid
went off the north stand.

So much to love about this evening's game. Couple of things I'd
pick out:
- The fact that at 21-0 down, as Quins fans we can still think
that the game is perfectly winnable.
- Something like 11 out of the match day squad are aged 23 or
younger: Smith, Lamb, Kenningham, Murley, Lynagh, Northmore,
Green, Riley, Baxter, Tizard, Green. The future is bright.
- Will Collier's first Premiership try for Quins. It wasn't a 1
yard stumble over the line. He ran from outside the 22, sold a
dummy and did a sidestep. That's special.

At the end of the first half, looks like a mistake from Barnes
to allow the 50:22. The law states that the ball cannot be
carried or passed back into the kickers half. That clearly
happens as Bristol are forced back whilst in possession back
over the half way line. They move the ball from the Quins half
back into their own, then kick.
