I thought Seb Stegmann looked a very good prospect until he got
injured, never quite the same afterwards.

Renaldo Bothma was a bit unlucky, gets signed then breaks his
arm, first game back in an A league game breaks his arm again,
think he broke it a 3rd time at somepoint.

Sam Stuart was another one whose promise was ruined by injury -
it's so good to see that Deano has helped him rebuild a career
at Falcons.
But thinking about scrum halves I think leads us to the
undeniable and by far the saddest answer: Nick Duncombe.

from memory and he then sadly went off the rails. But I do
agree that it is good to see him now at Falcons hopefully older
and wiser.

I believe it was more than injury which ruined his early promise
but I agree it's good to see him doing well now.

Seb Adeniran-Olule had one European Challenge cup game at the
Stoop I think (against an Italian team??)
From memory, he scored a try.

Paul Sackey didn't seem to play much for us. I remember seeing
him on crutches.

Never impressed me at all on the few occasions that he did play,
very disappointing time at Quins.

This thread is a bit depressing seeing how many there are. It
shows how precarious it can be in professional rugby.
