Agreed. Radwan made more stuff happen on his own than Lynagh
yesterday. Lynagh always seems to be in the right place at the
right time to finish off a move.

Radwan's pace and step are frightening a bit like Johnny May &
Gabs. The question is, will he become more prolific and get on
the end of team moves or will he have to generate his own tries?
If the latter, he won't move on. Newcastle have to get him the
ball in the right areas regularly for him to be a real threat.
Lynagh will probably score more across a season but not the
worldies that Radwan gets. Nice problem for England to have.

I've long felt that the best sides need a back three that has a
magician and two who are great at controlling space.
The '03 side had Robinson, Lewsey and Cohen, which was an
excellent balance. May, Daly and Watson had too much magic and
not enough control.
Interestingly, I think the closest thing Quins currently have to
a back three magician is Marchant, which may be why both we and
Eddie like to use him on the wing. His ability to create
something out of nothing, especially in transition play, is
excellent.
I could see something like Radwan, Steward and Nowell being a
good balance for England longer term.

Surely Green is our ‘magician’ in the back three. From what I’ve
seen of Nick David, he has a similar ability to make something
out of very little.
