True, but I don’t recall any of those kicks being an obvious
attempt for the 50:22. The vast majority were box kicks or the
full backs and wingers playing kick tennis. They showed some
good examples (using Marcus Smith) of situations last season
where the 50:22 would have worked perfectly.
I’ll be very interested to see today’s televised game. I can see
George Ford offering a masterclass in what 50:22 can be. It’s
very much in his locker.

And Exeter - they weren't on good form yesterday, but Tigers
look menacing - they'll be tough to beat if they can keep up
that sort of performance away from home...

Mark Evans on the Times podcast. Surprisingly Jones thinks that
Sarries were superb and it was a good match 😔
