I thought you lost your seat only for knockout games?

Yes, I think the home club is obliged to provide a certain
number or percentage of seats in each category.
And your season ticket doesn't include them.
But you'd think the club would be able to arrange things such
that moving STs isn't required.

The club gives first refusal to STHs to have “their” seats. If
you don’t apply by a specified date then they go on general
sale.

So no-one should be "kicked out" of their seats, then?

a few season back (2013) when we played Munster in a QF at home
this wasn't the case, they moved us about a bit, you weren't
guaranteed your usual seat..

Agreed. I think STHs are only "evicted" for knock out games

That was a one off, though, due to number of tickets of all
categories that had to be set aside under the rules of the
competition for opposition fans, sponsors, Heineken Cup
"functionaries" etc. When we've had QFs/SFs in the Challenge
Cup, Premiership, Prem Cup, etc, there's always been a window
for STHs to secure their own seat first.
It's worth remembering that the Munster situation was under the
previous Competition organizers (ERC not EPCR) so whether that
is still the case I don't know..
