Surely that can't be right when the Stoop only holds 14,816!
Wales Online with their usual accuracy or did the way we played
last year really make that much of an impact?
Numbers like that would certainly justify the new stadium
project.

No way we've sold 14k season tickets. You only need to look at
the number of seats available for upcoming matches to see there
are far more than 1000 still available.

From a bit more digging, there are only 41 season tickets still
available for sale - all single seats. Surely we wouldn't cap
the number of season tickets at much below 12,000-13,000?

a few years ago I am sure they set a ST cap at 9500.
to add, possibly the reason you can only see 41 available is
because we have started selling match day tickets, so if a seat
has been sold for an individual match then it isn't available to
buy as a season ticket online.
Example the seat next to mine hasn't been bought as a season
ticket, but has been sold for the Bristol game and it now isn't
available in the Season ticket page.

Yup - pretty sure the Club can make more money selling seats for
individual games than as a season ticket so certain categories
of seats have a cap in terms of ST sales.
Cheaper seats (i.e. ends of East and West Stands and lots of
South) then remain for ST sales until total cap is reached...

seats available for away supporters in certain competitions
(like Europe)?

Indeed we are required to do this. I have in the past been
kicked out of ‘my’ seat for this very reason.

I’m assuming “your” seat isn’t a season ticket.
