If it wasn’t for Alfie Barbeary potentially being a world XV
future player, Sam Riley would be England’s next hooker.

For all the hype about Barbeary, he’s never played hooker at
senior level and seems to pick up a lot of muscle tears/trains.

Yeah, but ill let him off. He seems an upgrade on Landajo (and
we still have Steele)

Decent work out. Hurt ourselves at times, 2 games on the spin
in pre season we have conceded too may but, we looked our own
worst enemy at times in that regard. Some players have stepped
up and staked a claim to start. Will be nice if we have a few
back though

Yep. Tizard, Lamb and Riley look ready to go, closely followed
by Baxter.
Disappointing to concede that many points, but to put it in to
perspective, Saracens lost 3-33 to Ulster yesterday and Tigers
lost to Scarlets too.

I think Dino Lamb has certainly put his name down for next
weekend. Northmore gets better and better. Our 4 main centre
options are really outstanding. Lynagh will want to play to get
this game out of his system; he deserves that chance. Also, it
says something about how truly terrific Kenningham is, that Will
Evans, one of the players of the season, will have to really
fight for his place on his return!
Work ons: handling, ruthlessness in attack, and don't be daft
André!

The difference between the teams was basically a couple of over
ambitious plays and Andre’s card. The first is not worrying, the
second is.

Think kennigham will transition to 6 when WEV is fit giving real
balance the back row with Dombrandt at 8
