Behind the paywall but probably better that way for my blood
pressure. I noticed that BBC sport did a report on their
friendly win over Ulster but they couldn’t manage one on the the
current men’s Premiership Champions comeback against Cardiff.

If you disable Javascript for the Telegraph site, the paywall
disappears. If you're using Chrome, go to Settings, scroll down
to the Privacy & Security section, in the Site Settings. In
there, scroll down to the Content Section, and in the entry for
Javascript, add the main telegraph site address to "Not allowed
to use Javascript". You'll lose things like the little embedded
GIFs when Charlie Morgan does one of his analysis pieces
demonstrating how a team performed in a game, but you'll be able
to read as many or as few Telegraph articles as you want.

The BBC also had live coverage on i-player of Salaries friendly
with Ulster on Friday. Ugo remarked that they 'financially
doped' the league (persistently) and yet the media love-in
continues. Guess which team BT are broadcasting the most in the
first batch of live games? I bet Ben Johnson and Lance Armstrong
are looking on with envy.

Sarries' 1st XV looks very strong, as always. With a couple of
notable exceptions their replacements are a big drop off from
the old days, though, and that's really the point of what they
did.

And let's not forget too soon that they refused to open their
books to scrutiny the season before last, accepting automatic
relegation instead. Why might that have been, do you think? I
don't think Ladbrokes will offer odds on the answer to that one.
Anyway, now that it's (probably) a fairer playing field, let's
hope as many teams as possible whup them.

Reportedly because it was a combined "open books and hand back
trophies" requirement.
