That's something we will never know. What we do know he isn't
playing because he is injured.

The reason given publicly is he “injured” - we may never know if
this “injury” would have prevented him from playing against
another team if the fixtures had been drawn differently!

He went off with the injury during their last warm up match
clutching his ribs so I don’t understand your posts.

Mentally - given all that’s happened - how easy would MB have
found playing against Quins in his first game for Newcastle?
There was no way he was ever going to play in this game -
“injury” or no injury!

I’m unsure why so many ppl don’t understand how difficult this
is for Mike. Hence, it’s no real surprise he’s not playing
against his old club tomorrow - “injury” or no injury.
