sent by post or email, either way nowt so far. On my way home so
maybe I'll find them on the door mat when I get there

Surprised the tickets have to be printed at home (rather than
just electronic copy). Not very eco friendly & not everyone has
a printer

I may be wrong but does the email say anything about putting
them into an electronic wallet? Or is that the Falcons tickets
I've bought earlier today?

So far I have one ticket, seating for Women's game, via email.
Still missing seating for men's, and parking fit both. Have sent
off an email asking for when they will arrive.
Got to agree on the annoying need to print off the tickets. In
the past I've simply bought up the ticket on my phone, zoomed on
the barcode, and placed it in the reader. I'm going to do this
on my phone and see what they say. I'll have the printed ticket
as a backup, but it is a waste to have to print them.

I remember the club trialing having your season ticket on your
phone towards the end of the season before last (I think it was
then, hard to keep track given the crazy 18 months we've had!).
I think the issue is that they have to make sure the readers can
read the barcode correctly on the majority of phones. The
readers at the gates aren't "open" where you can align the phone
so that any part of the screen can be scanned. Instead, they're
a closed recessed design, meaning that if your phome is too
large or the barcode isn't at the top/bottom of the screen it
may not get scanned correctly, meaning manual processing by the
gate staff leading to delays.
I know some will say the club should've thought about this when
they installed the scanners, but to be fair it's only a recent
technological development for phones to act as wallets/contain
loyalty/membership cards/etc. When they went to the "smart
cards" for Season tickets, it probably wasn't on the mids of
most people that they'd be wanting to use their phones like
this. Heck, ten or so years ago we used to get our little
printed booklet of "vouchers" for each game as our means of
entry as a Season Ticket Holder!
