I know that Grove RFC, my local club in Tribute South West 1
East (Level 6 on the pyramid), has local sponsors & getting
tickets for the Internationals is at the whim of the Club
Secretary. Tt depends a lot on whether he's trying to keep local
businesses on side, keep long-term members happy, etc. When they
only get a handful of tickets each year, the chances are
probably no better than the Quins Ballot or the ERSC ballot in
       the end.

Had no luck in the ERSC ballot for any of the 3 games I went
for. Had it about 4-5 years now and never been successful for
6N, but kept renewing as I was often able to get tickets for
Autumn Internationals. If balloting the Autumn games becomes
permanent then I wont bother renewing again as I wont end up
being able to go to anything.

Well, I got 2 tickets to England vs Australia. Not great seats,
but hey it's about the day, the atmosphere and live rugby.
       Chuffed!

Absolutely positive. Without them Dorking would not survive and
be able to build a new medical centre in the Club house improve
upstairs facilities. We have a huge mini section and are doing
well but sponsors are a vital part of life. No we don’t pay any
players. The sponsors are local firms and take most of our top
priced tickets. I am not really interested in the cheap ones but
of course the youngsters are. They, of course, pay for the
       tickets.

Likewise, the Ams use Test tickets as an incentive for sponsors
so they get first dibs. There are usually enough for us muggles
to go to games as well.
Btw we’re at Dorking on Saturday
