Well we know that is not true as Brownie said he told Deano he
just wanted the going rate for FB. For him it was not about the
money.

Yes sorry misread that I saw Mike Brown. But I do remember that
Andre is on 270,000

Ruck I think have previously put Mike on £250-300k at Newcastle.
He may not be looking for marquee money, but he's still a senior
player and England's most capped fullback.

How does anybody really know what players are paid, is it in the
clubs open accounts or are they all guesses.

Well, I hope the independent salary cap auditor knows *exactly*
what they are paid. Though I expect that the papers are going by
leaks from agents who are trying to set benchmarks for their own
players. My guess is that that will lead to the overall figures
being a little inflated, but the relative amounts being fairly
accurate.
