So we'll be without Wilco and Marcus for a large chunk of the
start of the season, but should have Andre?

Seems that way, although I'm still not sure what the situation
is with Smith and his rest period. I'm also not convinced Jones
will pick him for the AIs

Smith could probably have a few of weeks off and get back with
the squad for the end August and back up to match speed by end
of September. I know he's been training a lot with the Lions but
he would have been doing that for pre season anyway.
Don't see why he needs the standard 5 weeks rest. Different if
he was a 29 year old forward.

Everyone needs a complete break from work whether it is rugby
or anything else. I hope he has at least 4 weeks away.

Quite a few teams affected. As one of the previous posts said
the isolation periods either side mean that the AI’s are more or
less straight after the RC, so we’re pretty lucky that it’s just
Wilco.
Gloucester: Alemanno, Carreras, Socino
Newcastle: Carreras, Orlando
Sale: Faf, DdP, De Jager
Saracens: Koch
Tigers: Wiese, Montoya, Moroni
