Haven't yet watched the C4 highlights. Last week's were a big
disappointment with them showing 8 mins of the first half and 13
mins of the second. If it's the same this week it might be a
blessing.

They’ll do well to get 8 mins of highlights out of the 1st half

There isn't going to be a DVD doc of this series unfortunately -
hence the YouTube series they've been doing instead.
Which is a shame I think - for me the DVD is never about the
match highlights as I've seen them, I get excited about the
behind the scenes.
The original plan for the documentary this year was to go inside
the Springboks camp too, and after the drama we've had that'd
have made one hell of an entertaining documentary.

Also agree, just dull. When a side’s only strike move from just
outside the 22 is a Garryowen, rugby dies a little. When both
sides only strike move is a Garryowen, rugby is over as a
spectator sport. In these difficult days, elite sport has a duty
to do so much more than grind out wins.

I think without covid that would have been a phenomenal idea, to
compare and contrast the two different teams' approaches with a
FOTW doco...but having a covid one would be mind numbingly dull.
It would comprise; training, everyone back to their rooms,
training, everyone back to their rooms, training, everyone back
to their rooms, team talk, match, everyone back to their
rooms...and so on!

If he were to be banned, would he then be suspended just for the
last test and however many of Bristol's first games of the
season? Or would he have to take his 10 week rest period and
then sit out the number of games he's banned for?

The usual rule is that any ban has to cover meaningful weekends
where he is eligible to play. Hence why when Brownie had his 6
week ban the ruling stated that it included the last four
regular season games and two more "to be confirmed". If we
hadn't finished fourth, he would have missed the first two games
for Falcons.

Yep. If he does pick a ban, he’s probably going to end up
missing half the season or more.
He’s got a bit of previous so isn’t likely to get any
reductions.
First and foremost, I hope he didn’t bite Mostert. Secondly, I
haven’t seen anything yet that convinces me he did. The only
evidence I’ve seen so far is inconclusive at best and Mostert
definitely doesn’t react like someone who has been bitten.

In the video clips that have been posted, Mostert wraps his arm
around Sinckler’s head. You also can’t see any movement from
Sinck - but it’s plausible that Mostert’s arm could have gotten
jammed up against his teeth if he had his mouth even slightly
open.
In a situation like that, my personal view is that there is a
massive amount of mitigation: Mostert’s arm was in an illegal
position and providing Sinck didn’t deliberately bite down on it
(which would be hard to prove) then it’s his lookout.
Unfortunately, history suggests that the authorities are
unlikely to see it that way.
