The Stormers are playing well, but the Lions are gradually
getting on top of them.
Bizarrely, they seem to be protecting Smith in attack, but in
defence he’s made 3 or 4 very good tackles.

Marcus hasn’t once been first receiver off the breakdown that
I’ve noticed. Not using him that well or maybe protecting him.
He’s slotted his 3 conversions nicely.

Daly or Hogg are hogging (no pun intended) the ball and playing
first receiver.
Smith just running about not being put to use.
Looked like he was going to get the ball off that last scrum but
ball stayed into long and they changed the plan.

Van De Merwe (the Lions one) seems very reluctant to pass the
ball. He had Marcus on his shoulder at one point but preferred
to take the contact and recycle. I guess it’s too optimistic to
think we’d see the Quins way.
