Really pleased with this signing; addresses a key gap in back-up
heavy-weight second row, which too often in the past we’ve left
unanswered. Christian also comes over particularly well in the
interviews I’ve seen, could be a good addition to the squad all
round.
With the likely promotions of Head, Musk, Tizard, Hammond and
Kenningham, I think he will probably be our last signing in the
forwards, but I think we may still add another back.

No doubting his athletic prowess, and his got a full pre-season
to reacquaint himself with the more technical aspects of the
game and the dark arts...
If anyone can unlock his potential then it's our awesome
coaching team.

I suspect the immediate challenge, that may well take several
months, is getting his fitness up to rugby premiership levels.
The nature of NFL fitness and strength work is very different to
rugby because the demands of the games are so different. That
said, it will only be a matter of time and he's a very exciting
potential wildcard addition to the squad. Like the creative
thinking.

I agree, because I think that is rather funny.
This post was not accompanied by emojis/emoticons/emotion

His ego must have been blown up by the NFL, their facilities are
world-class, so I guess if his head is in the right place, he is
28 now and wants to get down to the business day in day out,
then I can see this being a good gamble.
He is a unit, excellent enforcer and given his age, he should be
more dominant in the tackle and rucks than when he was with the
Warriors.

I enjoyed this video. Lots of positive indications on his
character and athletic ability. If it works out, it could be a
very interesting signing.
