The black shirt is really nice (no, I don't use it for political
meetings), but the one like a version of the retro shirt is all
stretchy and clingy!

Received mine today, have fired a proper snottagram to Lovell,
sizing is ridiculous, I ordered a 4XL, yes I am LH
dimensionally, this should, by their own sizing of other quins
goods, be chest 58-63in or somewhere around there, across the
boobs flat it is actually 24.5 inches, on what planet is 49"
4XL? I grudge even more having to pay to return it myself too,
oh and no £10 voucher either.

Still haven't received my shirt but today I received this from
Lovell:-

BQ, my recommendation to you is to cancel your order whilst you
still can. I received my shirt yesterday and the sizing is
ridiculous. My standard Adidas shirt size is 3XL, but having
previously had a non-Adidas polo shirt from Lovell that was way
smaller than expected, I decided to order a 5XL Champions shirt.
(If it was too large it might shrink a bit in the wash etc.) Now
I acknowledge that I’ve put on a few pounds during lockdown, but
this new 5XL shirt clings to me like a wetsuit! By way of
contract, my new Adidas 2021 home shirt is 3XL and is still
slightly baggy just how I like it to be. Maybe they didn’t give
the manufacturers a European sizing chart? Either way, the
material is not great and neither is the embroidery. Save
yourself the hassle and expense of a return.

Received my shirt last week and admittedly hadn't tried it on
for size, was just pleased to finally get it! but this morning
having read the conversation on here I proceeded to put it on,
and YES like everybody else on here its very snug....possibly x2
sizes smaller than it should be that would mean I require a 2XL
now.
Have made contact with Lovell informing them of this fact and
that not prepared to meet the costs of a return myself for an
item which through no fault of my own is faulty.
By their own admission this is now very much a known issue and
in there should be a product recall, all buyers of the item
should be informed and given the opportunity to either return
for a refund or an exchange at no costs to themselves.
I wait a response......but at the same time am not holding my
breath!
When the club realised there was an issue with the unacceptable
delivery times they issued a statement and intervened on our
behalf - Unfortunately, this after all is in effect "sports
direct" we are trying to reason with and another timely
intervention by the club with them needs to be made to get any
kind of proper resolution to this.

Thanks, Quartered - I should have leant the lesson 18 months ago
- when the "new" (at the time) Lovell shirts were on order - I
ordered a shirt and it was way to small - I gave it to my son
and it fit him fine, so no drama.
This time, I ordered next size up. But then I read the stories
on here and then received email (in previous post) advising of
delay - I have told them not to deliver anything until it is
made to the spec mentioned on the website. Let's see what
happens.
Incidentally, I cannot think why shirts are so hard to buy: I
can understand why an XL in Indonesia is going to be different
to one in the US, so why do manufacturers make shirt sizes this
way - it should be a measurement in inches or cm - doesn't
matter which - but either would be unambiguous: any shirt makers
on this board care to comment?
Message to Management/apparel teams: don't use cheap (hardly!!!)
manufacturers - use a good one: fans will pay for quality. Look
at Ellis Rugby Shirts - absolute quality.

Had to return my XL shirt hoping to exchange for a larger one,
but no larger ones available, so cost now being refunded. Shame,
as I'd have liked to have the shirt really. I'm not sure if
Lovell or Adidas are to blame, but it's just a shame that they
couldn't manage to provide a decent shirt to celebrate the title
win, and to get it delivered within a sensible timeframe and in
sensible sizes.
It really shouldn't be that hard. Just means that I will avoid
pre-ordering anything now, when I have no idea how long the
product might take and what sort of quality it will be.

My skintight XL went back, and in fairness they were very quick
to refund.
It’s a shame as I need a replacement for my 20 year old CSF
shirt.
